A new survey from internet security firm Indicii Salus claims that nearly 90% of employees have read their manager’s emails at one time or another. Only 18% of the 200 people interviewed claimed that they have read the emails for work-related reasons.
This worrying statistic confirms the need for Network members to have a clear email and internet policy in place. If there is a written policy, agreed to by employees, then it is much easier to take disciplinary action against those who abuse... (37 more words)
