In the latest shake up of immigration legislation the government seems set to target employers recruiting illegal employees. The new white paper on asylum includes a code of conduct for employers on the hiring of foreign employees who do not have the right to work in the UK. Employers involved in deliberately bringing illegal immigrants to Britain to work could face criminal proceedings with sentences of up to 14 years.Immigration "hit squads" are planning to target the information ...
