Employers should be aware of their responsibility for the actions of their employees. The Court of Appeal has ruled that a commuter can sue Connex South Eastern for damages after he was hurt by an irate ticket inspector who held him in a headlock. Patrick Fennelly had brought his ticket from a machine while rushing to catch his commuter train.
