New CDM ACoP: more details

As we reported last month, the HSE has published a revised Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) on the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 (CDM). This follows a massive increase in the number of fatalities in the industry this year.The changes come into effect on 1 February 2002, after many employers admitted they did not fully understand their obligations.
