One of Europe’s highest courts has ruled that workers on long-term sick leave are entitled to full paid holiday rights. The verdict clears up years of confusion on this issue, and is a particular victory for one group of UK Revenue and Customs staff who challenged the loss of their annual holiday following their enforced absence due to sickness.
