Sexual orientation discrimination and harassment in employment has been unlawful for over three years, but in practice there have not been as many cases brought as may have been expected.
However two key decisions in the last month have reinforced the protection of gay rights and have resulted in a broadening of the ability of individuals to bring claims that they have been subject to harassment or discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
