Employers’ groups have hit out at an advert for a cold and flu medicine because it encourages workers to "throw a sickie".
The Take a Benylin Day advert, broadcast on TV and online, offers advice on how to call in sick, and reviews the best DVDs to watch at home while ill.
Benylin's website says its product is there to "take the guilt out of calling in sick when you need to rest and recover.”
It shows a woman waking up feeling ill. A narrator says:
