A caretaker and school health and safety inspector has been awarded almost £16,000 in compensation after injuring his knee because of an uneven paving slab on the school grounds.
David Craner was hurt as he pushed a trolley outside a classroom at Wyke Regis Primary School, in Weymouth, Dorset. Craner injured his knee when the cart was brought to a sudden halt as its wheels came into contact with the edge of the slab.
