All employers’ eyes will be on Parliament this Wednesday (3 December) as the Queen's Speech reveals what legislation will be on the agenda for 2009.

The Government is now reported to be re-writing its plans for next year so that the Queen's speech has the maximum impact on the economic crisis.

Business Secretary Peter Mandelson is said to be overseeing an updating of the final version – the draft was announced back in May.
