Workers at a Slough rubber factory were luckily saved from an explosion yesterday because they were in a meeting elsewhere in the building, away from the area where they usually work.
Although one worker suffered minor injuries, the scene could have been worse as the blast tore off huge metal panels and shattered the windows of nearby offices.
