BNP members could face sack, some employers warn

The list of British National Party (BNP) members posted on the internet contains the details of people in a wide range of jobs. Now some employers have made clear that membership is not consistent with their values.

The police have called in independent investigators after allegations that one serving officer belongs to the party.

The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) said police are banned from joining the BNP because of the potential damage to race relations.
