A Hackney Landlord has been fined £4,000 after two tenants suffered carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning from a boiler that had not been adequately maintained.
The incidents occurred on 11 January 2007, within a block of flats owned by the landlord, Soley Fikret. Two ambulances were called separately to the building after one tenant was reported to have symptoms of a heart attack, and another was unable to be woken.
