The Government has announced a number of measures intended to stabilise the banking system, with a plan to reduce the financial burdens of businesses as a partial consequence.
In a press conference held at Downing Street yesterday (9 October) Gordon Brown announced the courses to be taken to improve situations for groups which had been hit hard by the recent slump in the financial market.
