The debate over pleural plaques in the Scottish parliament continues, with a government minister expressing the few that people with so-called pleural plaques should receive compensation, despite opposition from medical and insurance experts.
Community Safety Minister Fergus Ewing stated that sufferers should be able to make claims under the Damages (Asbestos-related Conditions) (Scotland) Bill, which would overrule a previous ruling from the House of Lords putting an end to such entitlement... (105 more words)
