A conference to consider raising extra revenue for local councils through the use of the Workplace Parking Levy (WPL) has prompted fears that such a move would come at the expense of local companies.
Today (30 September), the Local Government minister John Healey is due to attend a conference in London, which will discuss the possibility of a WPL being used as a source of income for councils.
