The case of a Lincoln worker who suffered a severe groin injury whilst moving heavy goods at work has prompted a warning from the HSE.
Oven assembler Rolf Cinavas was off work for nine weeks after obtaining an injury whilst moving a 96kg oven, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court previously heard. Cinavas and a colleague were lowering five ovens from a waist-high assembly bench to floor pallets without the aid of mechanical lifting gear.
