An employee and a company have been convicted of health and safety offences after another employee lost his hand in a machine.
The incident happened on 5 March 2007 at the Ammeraal Beltech Limited plant. The HSE prosecuted the company, Ammeraal Beltech Ltd, and production operative Graham Parker.
HSE inspector Paul Yeadon says:
