Most long-term sick employees can return to work, says DWP

More than 90% of people with health problems can be helped to return to work by following a few principles of good health care and workplace management, research from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has suggested. 

To help this statistic become a reality, the Government is proposing to double the amount of money available to employers to adapt the workplace to accommodate employees with special needs.
