REACH enforcement regime to be set by 1 December

The ultimate sanction for failure to comply with REACH (the new European Union Regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) is no data, no market. This means that if substances are not registered under REACH they may not be placed on the market.
