Spitting vicar asked to leave before Christmas

A VICAR sacked for "spitting" at his flock has been told to quit his home before Christmas.

The Rev Tom Ambrose was given until July 9 to leave the vicarage he has called home for almost a decade.

But he has now been given an extra three months in which to up sticks and leave the rambling house next to St Mary and St Michael Parish Church in Trumpington.
