The Government has today (16 July) published its draft Apprenticeships Bill, which introduces new measures to ensure that apprenticeships become more popular with both employers and potential apprentices.
The Government anticipates that around one in five of all young people will be undertaking an apprenticeship in the next decade, and has introduced the Bill to make sure apprenticeships are seen as a mainstream learning option alongside going to college or university.
