Employers may have to spend hours “tinkering with their employment statistics” to meet targets under the Government’s new equality regime, an HR expert has warned.
Speaking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, David Woollcott, senior HR advisor with Workplace Law, said that allowing companies to positively discriminate in favour of women and minority groups is like using “a sledgehammer to crack a nut”:
