Deaths of young people at work in the spotlight

An MP is calling for a basic health and safety course to become part of the National Curriculum to make the “needless loss of young lives” in workplaces a thing of the past.

In the last decade, 64 young people aged under 19 have been killed in workplace accidents. A further 15,000 have been seriously injured.
