Too many businesses are still of the opinion that, because they once had a fire certificate and their circumstances haven't changed, they are still complying with fire safety law. But, says Alan Cox, fire safety consultant and regular voice on the Workplace Law Network forum, this isn't the case, and fire certificates "were not worth the paper they were written on".
