In Clyde Valley Housing Association v. MacAuley (2008) the EAT has held that to comply with the statutory requirements in relation to a grievance under the modified grievance procedure (MGP), an employee must set out in their grievance sufficient information for the employer to identify the "who, what, where, when, and why" of their complaint.
