Employees concerned bosses are not taking safety seriously

Most employees think that their bosses put other business concerns like time and money ahead of health and safety, according to research commissioned by IOSH.

Staff were asked to rank their employers business priorities, only 7% of them said making sure employees are not hurt or made ill by work was the main priority. Priorities which ranked higher were keeping customers and clients happy, making money and getting work done on time.
