Environment Secretary Hilary Benn says that the UK is making progress on cutting Greenhouse Gas emissions, but warns that there is still much work to do.
Provisional statistics published for total UK Greenhouse Gas emissions for 2007 showed a drop of 2% over the previous year, with 639.4m carbon dioxide equivalent, down from 652.3m tonnes in 2006.
