The Health and Safety Minister, Lord McKenzie, will call for a more sensible approach to health and safety and is expected to say that all health and safety professionals have a role to play in making this happen.
Speaking today (18 March) at the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health's (IOSH) conference, Lord McKenzie will say that risk management should be about practical steps to protect people from real harm and suffering.
