Gale force winds in have brought down a number of trees and more windy weather is forecast; because of this, the HSE has issued a warning to landowners and employers, reminding them to ensure that only trained and competent people are used to deal with fallen trees on their land.
Extra care must also be taken when working in severe weather as this will make the task of removing damaged or fallen trees more hazardous.
