Work-related suicides could be killing more people than workplace accidents, according to a new report.
'Crying shame', a report published in the union-backed Hazards magazine, said there are about 5,000 suicides every year in the UK in people of working age.
In Japan - where work-related suicide or 'karojisatsu' is an officially recognised and compensated occupational condition – research suggests that 5% of all suicides are 'company related'.
