The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has launched a legal challenge against new Government pension rules, which it says are leaving badly injured and disabled firefighters sacked and without a pension.
A Judicial Review, challenging the legality of the guidance, has been brought to the High Court after three disabled firefighters had their pensions removed by the London Fire Brigade.
FBU general secretary Matt Wrack says:
