The Health and Safety Executive has warned today that Uralita FC6 and Uralita FC6R roofing sheets are not safe to work on without precautions to prevent falls through the material. Following an incident, the HSE is investigating that the safety information provided by the manufacturer has led some users of the sheets to think that fall prevention precautions are not needed.The Health and Safety Laboratory in Buxton tested several batches of the roofing sheets and all but one was fragile.
