A police dog handler is suing his force for £15,000 claiming the barking of the dogs has damaged his hearing, according to a report in The Herald today. According to the report, Constable Alan Ross, a dog handler for around half of his 28 years in the force, claims the vans used by Grampian Police to transport the dogs were not properly soundproofed, even though they had been warned about the problem.
