Arguments against rights for temps are myths, says TUC

To give support to a new Private Member’s Bill, which aims to give agency workers equal treatment rights at work, the TUC has announced that the top business arguments against giving agency workers equal rights are based on myths.

The arguments the TUC says are unfounded are:

agency workers aren’t any worse off than permanent staff;giving agency workers equal rights would cost 250,000 jobs;small businesses cannot afford to give temps equal rights;agency workers are only in temp... (358 more words)
