Conflicting opinions are being expressed about the impending Corporate Manslaughter legislation due to come into force in April this year. Whilst many directors are worried about the implications of the Act, and the fines that have been suggested, others take a more complacent view that the Act will make it no easier to prosecute large companies than before.
