Where an employer proposes to dismiss as redundant 20 or more employees at one establishment within a period of 90 days or less, it must (in addition to individually consulting with employees at risk of redundancy) consult about the dismissals with the appropriate representatives of any of the employees who may be dismissed or affected by the redundancies.
