The HSE has issued a notice of approval setting out the procedure for appeals against decisions recorded in health records under the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999. Employees who are subject to medical surveillance under the Ionising Radations Regulations 1999 must have a health record which records decisions by appointed doctors or medical advisors.
