A European MP's former office manager has won a case of constructive dismissal against the politician after her position was advertised whilst she was off sick.
Hilary Harris, 57, is expected to receive thousands of pounds after winning her case against MEP Dr John Whittaker, chairman of the UK Independence Party.
Harris ran Whittaker’s Preston officers from February 2004 and fell ill in December 2006; it was later discovered that she had suffered a stroke.
