The timetable for the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive has been clarified by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
In a written answer to a parliamentary question, Iain Wright, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for the DCLG, stated that:
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) on construction of new dwellings will be required from 6 April 2008;
EPCs on construction, sale or rent of buildings other than dwellings over 10,000m2 from 6 April 2008;EPS ... (178 more words)
