WEEE Regulations to be amended in New Year

Changes to the Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations are set to come into force on 1 January 2008.

The changes will see producer compliance schemes reporting on their activities in a more precise way (for instance, by providing evidence of recycling in kilograms instead of tonnes).
