Unions and business organisations have given overwhelming support to the Government’s new proposals for cracking down on employers who exploit staff by paying less than the minimum wage.
The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform announced the changes as it published a response to a consultation on strengthening enforcement of the National Minimum Wage (NMW) and Employment Agency Standards (EAS).
