Hotel company Travelodge has been fined £20,000 after two accidents in their bathrooms, BBC News has reported.
At Cambridge Crown Court, the firm admitted five offences of breaking the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The company was prosecuted by Mid Beds District Council after an inspection in October 2005 found it had failed to report the accidents.
In one case, at the Travelodge in Marston Moretaine, Beds, a guest was taken to hospital after falling.
