Man crushed at recycling centre

A man has died after he was crushed by a truck at a recycling centre in Dublin.

The accident happened at the recycling plant in the Merrywell Industrial Estate near Clondalkin on Monday evening.

The man, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was removed to Tallaght Hospital and a post mortem will take place. Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
