A shop manager who claimed constructive dismissal after her employer moved her to a new position and refused to give her a redundancy payment when she decided that the job was unsuitable, was not entitled to a redundancy payment, the Employment Appeal Tribunal has said.
The claimant was a dual-site manager in charge of a dental and optical service, when on the closure of the dental clinic her position became redundant.
