The recent exit of household names Nick Ross from Crimewatch and Moira Stuart from Sunday AM has thrown ageism back into the limelight, following the implementation of regulations outlawing unjustified age discrimination last October.
Both presenters received considerable public sympathy but, in reality, ageism is rife and, arguably, currently more socially and culturally acceptable than other stereotyping and discrimination.
