Lesbian soldier victimised by sergeant

An Employment Tribunal has heard that a sergeant made a lesbian soldier's life a misery because she refused to have sex with him.

Lance Bombardier Kerry Fletcher claims that she was victimised because of her sexual orientation, and was pestered for sex by a male sergeant who claimed he might be able to turn her "straight."

Fletcher, the first woman to ride with the King's Troop and parade for the Queen's Birthday and Trooping of the Colour, joined the regiment in North Yorkshire ... (246 more words)
