The Health and Safety Executive has prosecuted Galamast Ltd, from Bromley in Kent for breaches in the Health and Safety at Work Act Section 2 (1) and Section 3 (1) at Bedford Magistrates Court that led to its employees, sub contractors and health and safety inspectors for the client being exposed to asbestos.
The company was carrying out a 'stripout' of an old Littlewoods store in Bedford's Harpur Centre in March 2006 when verbal instructions about safety were misunderstood. Galamast Ltd was... (29 more words)
