The Employment Retention Bill, aimed at assisting disabled employees back into the workplace, has been delayed until the next Parliamentary Session.
The Employment Retention Bill 2007 sought to create a statutory right to rehabilitation leave for newly disabled people and those whose existing impairments change, by adding new parts to the Employment Rights Act 1996.
