A major new radio investigation will report tonight on cancer fears at National Semiconductor’s (Nat Semi) microchip factory in Greenock where more than 70 cancer deaths have occurred.
BBC Radio 4’s File on Four will examine new research suggesting the number of work related cancers could be as high as 24,000 a year rather than the 6,000 occupational cancer deaths given by official estimates.
