As an employer you are committed to providing a safe working environment for your employees. You are also committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of your employees. Alcohol and substance misuse can be detrimental to the health and performance of employees and may pose a potential risk to safety in the workplace and the welfare of other employees. This policy is designed to help protect employees from the dangers of alcohol, drug and other substance misuse and to encourage those with a drug or alcohol problem to seek help.
